Kids throughout Kershaw County are invited to show off their patriotic spirit by decorating bicycles, scooters, and wagons and wearing their red, white, and blue for the eighth annual Kids’ Fourth of July Parade on Saturday, June 29 in downtown Camden. Festivities begin at Camden City Hall at 10 a.m.; the parade will start at 10:30 am. This is a free event open to the community.
Pre-parade activities will include community organizations such as the Camden police and fire departments, Hobkirk Hill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Revolutionary War Visitor Center, and more. Free snow cones will be available to all participants following the parade.
For the safety of the participants, motorized vehicles (electric or gas powered) are not allowed, and children 10 and under must be escorted by an adult.
